Congratulations to the youth on their last fund raiser. They sold Papa John's pizza cards and raised $2212.56. Good job youth!



 


 



Frank A. Phillips, age 67, of Knoxville went home to entertain the angels on Wednesday morning, June 2, 2010. Frank was a member of Hardin Valley Free Will Baptist Church. He was an employee of Knox County Schools. Frank was an avid musician and was known for his humor. Frank is survived by his wife of 23 years, Kitty Phillips; children, Curtis Booth and wife, Jackie of Milford Center, OH, Sheri Jacobs and husband, Chuck of Knoxville, David Booth and wife, Lisa of Maryville; grandchildren, Josh, Holly, Sara, Tim, Michael and Rosie; great grandchildren, Kendall Marie and Calleigh Dawn; brother, George Phillips and wife, Debbie of Jackson, MI; nephew, George Phillips Jr. of Jacksboro; sisters-in-law, Betty Oglesby of Chattanooga, Sharon Vance of Lake City, LaDonna Mingus and husband, Rev. David Mingus of Spring Hill, KS; brother-in-law, Jim Sanford of Clinton.
  
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3:45 p.m. on Saturday at the Hardin Valley Free Will Baptist Church with funeral services to follow at 4 p.m. with Rev. Darvin Oakes officiating. Interment will follow in the Lake View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hardin Valley Free Will Baptist Church Youth Competition Team.
